CME/CDE ON RESEARCH METHODOLOGY, BIOSTATISTICS & research PROPOSAL WRITING

 

April 2017

 

 

Introduction

This course is meant to empower the novice researchers with the skills needed to accomplish their research goals. It is a practical- oriented short course with ample opportunity for hands-on practice of core research skills.  The pre-reading for the course will assist the participants in building a sound foundation for their research competency.

 

CME/CDE Duration

This CME/CDE comprises three consecutive workshops on Research Methodology, Biostatistics with SPSS & Developing Research Proposal. The total duration of the set of workshops is 4 weeks, with 3 weeks pre-reading and one week face-to-face teaching and learning sessions if you attend all the three workshops.

 

Course Assessment

The assessment of the course (All the three workshops) for MPhil and PhD postgraduate students comprises the following indicators.

For faculty members the certification of the course could be based on complete attendance of the individual workshops and the in-house assignments.

Course Certification

Participants who attend all the three workshops and submit their individual and final assignments on time would earn CME/CDE certificate from Riphah Academy of Research and Education (RARE), Riphah International University.
